"Precipice", the new album by UK progressive/ avantgarde blackened death doom (enough adjectives?) metal band Lychgate, was released by Debemur Morti Productions on December 19th. I contributed my bass playing to this recording and I can honestly say it took me some way out of my comfort zone, both technically and harmonically speaking.

Hi, and thanks for visiting my long overdue new site!

 

Eventually, I intend for this space to serve as a comprehensive official archive of my musical 'history'. At some point in the future, I may even offer video lessons and courses. 

​

​For now, however, I'm keeping things simple and limiting content to current news.

 

So, as of September 2025, my main musical activities are as follows:

​

1) Working as a producer / mixing engineer / session musician from my studio, Twelve Tone Studio (professional enquiries only please).

​

2) Revisiting the 6-string prog bassist experience, this time with avant-garde progressive black metal band Lychgate​. (There'll be a new album coming out at the end of 2025 and I can honestly say it's one of the most challenging and unique records I've been a part of. I'm excited for its release!)

​

3) Composing material for a new and substantially less extreme project, in which I get to re-explore my first love - guitar! I seemingly haven't had the time for such a venture since working on the PSION EP, so it's nice to be exercising my creative muscle again. 

​
